they love without question
they trust with all their heart
they have no idea how much they melt our hearts
and how stinkin' cute they can be
she doesn't care we affectionately call her "chicken head"
she doesn't question why her little girl put her in this plastic bin to watch tv
she only sees it as a safe, snuggly place to take a nap
they still love us even when we bring another puppy home
unconditionally and without question
